This page explains what happens when you visit hairetro.uk, in plain terms. This site does not have a contact form, account system, or checkout — we don't collect personal information directly from you unless you choose to message us via WhatsApp or book through Booksy, both of which are separate services with their own privacy policies.
Hairetro Barbers Ltd, trading as HAIRETRO Barbers, 143–145 Headrow, Leeds LS1 5RL. Company No. [ADD COMPANY NUMBER], registered in England & Wales.
When you first visit this site, a banner asks whether you're happy for us to load two optional third-party features: the embedded Google Map and our live Google review widget. Nothing from either loads until you choose "Accept all," or use the "Show Map" button on the map itself. If you choose "Reject all," neither loads, and you'll see a plain link to open the map on Google's own site instead. You can change your mind at any time using the "Cookie Preferences" link in the footer.
| Service | What it's for | Loads before consent? |
|---|---|---|
| Google Fonts | Loads the typefaces used across the site | Yes — this only requests font files (your device's IP address is visible to Google, as with any web request), it does not set cookies. |
| Google Maps (embedded) | Shows our location on the Find Us section | No — only loads after you accept, since Google's embed can set its own cookies. |
| Featurable | Displays our live Google review rating | No — same as above, only loads after you accept. |
| Booksy | Handles all appointment bookings | N/A — booking links simply take you to Booksy's own site; nothing from Booksy loads on our page. |
| Lets you message us directly | N/A — opens WhatsApp with a pre-filled message; nothing from WhatsApp loads on our page. |
Since we don't hold personal data about site visitors directly, there's generally nothing to request or delete. If you've messaged us via WhatsApp or booked via Booksy and want to know what those platforms hold about you, contact them directly — both are large platforms with their own data protection teams and published policies.
